We've put together a handful of Aesop's fables into a format especially written for young
students. The songs are simple and playful, encouraging students to delight in the sounds of
language (phonemic awareness) while they practice basic word-building skills. This show is
uniquely designed so that teachers can choose to have their kids do the entire show or merely
perform any number of individual scenes/songs.

Anansi is based on a West African tale. It's the story of a very tricky spider who discovers
a magic rock which he uses to steal food from all the jungle inhabitants. The last laugh is on
Anansi, of course, but not before everyone has a chance to sing some fun songs about yams,
dancing mangos, and Anansi's mischief. It can be used merely as part of a Folk Tales or
Trickster component to the curriculum, but it lends itself naturally to multicultural aspects of
social studies.

This Native American tale tells how Coyote brings summer to the worlds and earns his
famous gift of trickery as a reward. Our fifteen minute musical version of this delightful story
from the Crow Nation is designed especially for kindergarten through third grade.

Specifically designed for kindergarten through third grade, this 15 minute version of the
misadventures of Goldilocks is a perfect way to introduce musical theater to younger kids.
The entire class sings the story, interrupted by several enthusiastic students who repeatedly
try to introduce characters from other favorite children's tales.

Dick, Jane, and Spot are trying hard to learn grammar, but they could use some help. Lucky
for them, they run into the Loch Ness Monster, who turns out to be a Grammarosaurus, a
dinosaur specializing in punctuation. Designed for students beginning their study of grammar,
Grammarosaurus is a great introduction to and review of English language concepts.

Developed specifically for "first time" musical producers and performers, Jack has been
performed successfully by all kinds of students - big kids, little kids, gifted, ESL. Teachers
from kindergarten through firth grade have told us how much fun they've had putting on this
musicalized version of the familiar story.

Welcome to the weekly meeting of the Fairy Tale Advice Council. Led by Rapunzel, a
Handsome Prince, and a (recovering) Wicked Witch, the council offers help in character
building to famous fold creatures. In this fun and non-preachy show, the Big Bad Wolf learns
the Golden Rule, Cinderella gets help in managing her hanger at her bullying stepsisters, and
Jack and the Giant discover that their differences are cool. Character Matters is a great
complement to your curriculum in character education.

The Fairy Tale Advice Council is back with more character education for the starts (and
villains) of folktales. This show has all the answers, as students learn through traditional tales
and silly jokes (a Bad Wolf tradition) the importance of being polite, never giving up, taking
care of the environment, working out differences, and the Golden Rule.

Designed especially for younger students, Friendly Neighborhood Helpers introduces
students to the many helpful people in their community. Kids learn through simple songs
about fire fighters, dentists, plumbers, cooks, postal workers, librarians and many more who
work every day to make their neighborhood a better place to live.

We've combined eight great songs with a bit of fun, fact-filled storytelling
in this celebration of earthworms. In addition to details about the importance
of our wriggling friends (aeration, soil nutrients, composting), students will
meet The Little Earthworm That Could, an eight foot Australian worm, and
earthworms who love to dance. Designed especially for younger students,
Earthworms Make America Great! makes learning as easy as eating dirt!

In Life Cycles, students reinforce their study of the reproduction, developmental stages,
inherited characteristics, and variations of plants and animals with catchy songs and funny
dialogue. Butterflies, frogs, and mice never sounded so good!

Sure, there's the nasty witch (several of them!) and a house made of candy, but in this version
of the classic tale Hansel and Gretel learn all about nutrition on their adventures through the
forest. The brother and sister discover the benefits of exercise and good hygiene as well.
This is a fun and funny show that reinforces the importance of eating well and taking care
of your body.

A Frog in the rain forest desperately wants to get off the jungle floor and see the sky - but
who will help him climb above the canopy? The Jaguar loves the jungle floor, the Sloth
family keeps falling asleep, and the Howler Monkeys have gone nuts. The Rumps in the
Rain Forest gives students a musical tour of the various levels of the jungle and reinforces
the importance of the rain forests in fun fashion.

Dad has promised the kids a trip to Mars, but the Bargain Basement Tour company doesn't
quite have it all together. Instead the family (including Gus, the dog) all end up touring the
entire solar system! The sun (always a star) holds center stage, but the moon and all the
planets get in on the action. So cinch up your asteroid belt and come along!

Dr. Emma loves to measure weather - (rumor has it that she owns 74 weather vanes). The
Weather Show is the tale of Emma's exciting adventure through weather of every sort in search
of a very special barometer. She learns the significance of the water cycle, how weather
makes the earth habitable, and how the elements of weather are all connected.

If you teach in a public school, then you owe it to yourself, your students and their
families to consider this play. Teachers frequently try to celebrate the holiday season,
but it's not easy to do so without leaving someone out. "The Holiday Show" solves this
problem with a true multicultural perspective seen through the eyes of the goofy animals
that tell the story.
